To choose a growth marketing agency, evaluate three things: which business metric it commits to move, who actually runs your account and how it charges. These 10 questions help you compare proposals with judgment.
The 10 questions
- Which business metric will you move? Cost per customer, sales or recurrence; not just clicks or reach.
- Where do you start? A good starting point is a diagnostic of offer, pricing, channels, funnel and sales process, not a blind campaign.
- Who runs my account and how much time do they give it? The person responsible should be committed to your project.
- How do you charge? Flat fee, results or mixed. Understand what each party pays for and what risk each takes.
- How is a result defined? It should be in writing, with metrics and timelines.
- Are the ad accounts and the data mine? They should always be.
- How do you connect advertising to my sales process? CRM integration, lead follow-up and automations.
- What results can you show from real accounts? Ask for screenshots and context: industry, spend and period.
- What do you expect from me? A serious agency will tell you what it needs from your team (commercial follow-up, openness to change the offer).
- How long is the commitment and how does it end? Ask about contract length and how your account is handed over.
Warning signs
- They guarantee results before understanding your business.
- They talk only about vanity metrics.
- They do not explain who runs your account.
- They do not want to put anything in writing.
- They charge everyone the same, without understanding your situation.
How we answer
- Metric: the cost of winning a customer and sales volume.
- Starting point: a deep diagnostic of the business.
- Pricing: a mixed model of fee plus results, defined for each client and agreed in writing; with companies in a critical situation, only a percentage of results.
- Proof: real accounts we have managed in B2B services, retail and automotive, plus U.S. law firms, car dealerships, colleges and roofing companies.
We also say when we are not a fit: if you want the cheapest provider, expect results without changing anything inside the company, or no one follows up on the leads.
