What a growth marketing agency costs depends on the pricing model and the scope. The three usual models are a flat monthly fee, a percentage of results and a mixed model that combines both. There is no single rate: the healthiest approach is to understand what each model pays for and what risk each side takes.
The three pricing models
| Model | How it works | Advantage | Risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flat fee | You pay a monthly amount for the service | Predictable | You pay the same if there are no results |
| Percentage of results | You pay according to sales or leads achieved | Aligned with your goal | You must measure well and define what counts as a result |
| Mixed (fee + results) | A base fee plus a variable component | Balances commitment and incentive | It must be clear in writing |
What influences the price
- The ad spend and the number of channels.
- The scope: only advertising, or also offer, landing pages, automations and CRM?
- The stage of the business and its capacity to serve more customers.
- The number of people dedicated to the account.
How we work at Torre Media
We use a mixed model: fee plus results, defined for each client. First we understand their situation and confirm we can help.
- The fee commits the person who will run the account. It is what allows real time to be dedicated to the project.
- The performance component aligns incentives. For companies at the right revenue level and stage, if the agreed results are not reached we keep working at no charge until they are. That depends on a shared commitment.
- When a company is in a critical situation and cannot take on a fee, we work on a percentage of results only.
Everything is agreed in writing before we start, with defined metrics and timelines.
How to avoid overpaying
- Ask which metric is paid for and how it is measured.
- Confirm who runs your account and how much time they give it.
- Check that the advertising accounts and data are yours.
- Clarify the contract length and what happens if there are no results.
- Get in writing what is delivered every month.
